Jakiś czas temu wprowadzono zmiany w linuksowym podsystemie udev, wskutek czego zmieniła się trochę składnia reguł udeva. SYSFS jest przestarzałe i nie działa już w Debianie testing ani unstable, w stable działa ale też wyrzuca ostrzeżenie o "deprecated", nie wiem jak jest w Ubuntu ale zapewne też za chwilę przestanie działać.
W miejsce SYSFS należy wpisać ATTR.
Poniżej uaktualniona zawartość pliku 53-radioactive.rules

Linijka LABEL="radioactive_rules_end" ze starego pliku jest zbędna, aczkolwiek nieszkodliwa :)
Przy okazji plikiem można opędzić kilka innych urządzeń i tak np powyższa linijka załatwia nam wszystkie urządzenia o vendorze 16c0, ja np oprócz RAD@H mam też programator do Atmeli USBasp o tym vendorze.
Mam tez dopisany w pliku programator do PICów PICkit3. W takim przypadku warto zmienić nazwę pliku z 53-radioactive.rules na jakąś bardziej uniwersalną pamiętając o zachowaniu reguł dla nazwy czyli liczby i rozszerzenia rules. U mnie plik ten ma nazwę 53-electronic-tools.rules i wygląda tak:
#RAD@Home, USBasp, etc.

Nie ma też potrzeby restartowania komputera, wystarczy wydać polecenie z prawami administratora:

czyli w Debianie jak powyżej z konta roota a w Ubuntu:
sudo /etc/init.d/udev restart
Możemy też sprawdzić czy nasze poczynania przyniosły zamierzony efekt:
udevadm test /sys/bus/usb/devices/
jeśli w wynikach znajdziemy linijkę:
parse_file: reading '/etc/udev/rules.d/53-radioactive.rules' as rules file
i nie będzie tu żadnych errorów to operacja się powiodła. :boing:

Moduł to miniaturowa przetwornica podbijająca napięcie do ok. 4.8V ale dolna granica pracy to zasilanie jej z 3.0V.
Akumulatorki naładowane mają jakieś 3x1.3V = 3.9V i to dość szybko spada do 3x1.2V = 3.6V i tak dalej...
Natomiast baterie nowe mają około 3x1.6V = 4.8V (w zasadzie czujka mogła by chodzić bez modułu ale dość krótko) Napięcie to następnie dość szybko spada i po 2h wynosi około 3x1.4V = 4.2V (po: 5h ok. 4.0V ; 11h 3.8V).
Nawet jak baterie są bardzo słabe to mają sumaryczne napięcie większe niż 3V (np. po 21h 3x1.06 = 3.19V) i przetwornica dalej działa zasilając czujnik aż do całkowitego wyczerpania baterii. Przy akumulatorkach napięcie dość szybko spada do 3x1V i przetwornica wyłącza się.
Na bateriach udało mi się zasilać czujkę 25h. Co prawda na wyświetlaczu już nie było nic widać (od jakichś 3-4h), ale brzęczyk nadal działał. Natomiast na akumulatorkach AAA i to 1.5V a nie 1.2V (fakt że raczej mocno już zużytych) maksimum co udało mi się wyciągnąć to 5-6h pracy.
Jeżeli napięcie na wyjściu jest wyższe niż napięcie wyjściowe przetwornicy w module (czyli około 4.8V) np. wtedy gdy czujka jest podłączona do USB to pobór prądu z baterii zostaje ograniczony do minimum... ale jednak jakiś µA zawsze płynie.
Zalecam wyjmowanie baterii jeśli czujka ma zostać podłączona do komputera przez dłuższy czas lub dodanie wyłącznika między koszykiem baterii a modułem.
